At “dealwithdogs.com” we believe you should know everything you can about your dog. That why we’ve dedicated this page to share all the useful tips and information we have come across.
Indoor Dogs
Any dog can be an indoor dog, however, smaller dogs are usually a better choice for an inside dog few a few reasons.
– They are not at bench height. This means that they are easily able to knock over objects, especially glass objects which could potentially injure them.
– They are also less likely to be able to jump up onto couches dirtying them.
– It would also be harder for smaller dogs to jump up to food (on tables, benches and coffee tables) knock it over causing stains on the object, and the dog could potentially eat some harmful foods like chocolate.
– They are smaller taking up less space. (Easy for them to move in and out of small places)
It is usually a good idea to choose your indoor dog carefully. Some things you may want to consider are;
- Size
- How energetic are they?
- How much do they malt? (It would be annoying to have dog hair around the house constantly, as you would need to clean the house more)
Outdoor Dogs
Any dog can be an outdoor dog. Outdoor dogs are a great choice if you want to interact with your dog more (Play with him or her). Some things you might want to consider if you are getting an outside dog are;
– How much space does the dog have to run around?
– Where will they sleep (Where will you put there dog house/bed/mat and will it stay dry? (is it under shelter))?
